Virtual Quiz Night Raffle

The 6th May will be another Virtual Quiz Night and we will also be holding the first Virtual Raffle. All proceeds that we collect, will be going straight to the Charity account.. The first prize will be a £25.00 Carol Nash voucher the second prize will a selection of beauty products and the third prize is a selection of Sweeties from Bonny’s stash. If the raffle proves to be popular then the number of prizes may be increased for further events.

 We are going to be saving money by not travelling to Lincoln and by not buying drinks at the Windmill Farm, so we’ll have a few quid to spare. Here’s what to do with it!

Before 5th May the closing date, transfer (minimum £5.00) your cash to the Chapter bank account:

this should be in round pounds, £1.00 per ticket with a minimum of £5.00.

Deb will pick up the amounts coming in and the names where the payments are coming from, and will allocate you the correct number of tickets. If you wish, you can email the Treasurer with the amount you have just paid, and she will email back your raffle ticket numbers. This is optional, even if you don’t know your ticket numbers, you can still win.

Deb will keep a list of who has paid, and their ticket numbers and will circulate the list to the other Primary Officers to ensure fair play and accountability.

On Wednesday 6th May at Virtual Quiz Night, Bonny will put all the numbers bought into the Tombola and select two for the two prizes. They will check the report to find the names, and announce them and just in case they are not watching live, we’ll email them as well.

The remaining money raised will go to our nominated charities one of which is Heart Link. We have been told that they are desperate for funds right now, as many regular sources of income have dried up.
